Terms and Conditions
- This promotional competition is organised by Mancosa (SkillME) (the “Promoter”).
- The promotional competition is open to permanent residents of South Africa over the age of 18 years except for any employee, director, member, partner, agent or consultant or any person directly or indirectly who controls or is controlled by the Promoter, immediate family members, advertising agencies, advisers, dealers, suppliers and/or associated companies, and/or a participant who has won a prize through a promotional competition run by the Promoter at least three months prior to the announcement of the winner of the Prize (“Disqualified Persons”).
- By entering the promotional competition, all participants and winners agree to be bound by these rules, which will be interpreted by the Promoter, whose decision regarding any dispute will be final and binding. The Promoter reserves the right to amend, modify, change, postpone, suspend or cancel this competition and any prizes (which have not yet been subject to a draw), or any aspect thereof, without notice at any time, for any reason which the Promoter reasonably deems necessary.
- The promotional competition commences on 1 April 2022 and ends on 5 May 2022 (Robotics) and 29 April 2022 (3D Printing), both days inclusive. Entries received after the closing date will not be considered.
- The breakdown: 1x Robotics & Programming Course including Robotics Kit and/or 1x 3D Printing Course including 3D printer
- To be eligible for these prizes users tell us in the comments below the given post what’s the first thing your robot will do for you/what you’d like to create with your fancy new 3D printer? They also need to share the post and like our page.
- Winners will be selected by a panel and will be notified via Facebook or Instagram throughout the course of the competition, but no later than 5 May 2022 (Robotics) and 29 April 2022 (3D Printing). The winners’ names will also be shared on the Mancosa Facebook & Instagram pages. The decision is final and no correspondence will be entered. The Prizes are not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the Prizes with any other prize of comparable commercial value.
- The Prizes will be confirmed via email or phone with the winner/s within one day of acceptance of the Prize (which will be the date on which the winner/s accepts the Prize by providing all the required documentation).
- Winners of the Prizes may be required to provide their proof of identity and South African residence.
- If the potential winners do not confirm acceptance of their Prize within 48 hours after they have been contacted, the potential winners will be deemed to have rejected the Prize and it shall revert back to the Promoter.
- No applications from agents, third parties, organised groups or applications automatically generated by computer will be accepted. No incomplete or corrupted entries will be accepted. Any attempt to use multiple e-mail, cell phone or Instagram accounts or other tactics to enter more than the stated limit may result in disqualification and all associated entries and/or votes will be void. Entries or votes generated by script, macro, bot, commercial contest subscription, incentives or other means not sponsored by the Promoter, vote-swapping sites, voting software, entering service sites or any other automated means and entries or votes by any means that subvert the entry/voting process or do not conform to the terms or spirit of these competition rules, will void the entry/votes and may disqualify the entrant. Entries will only be accepted if they comply with all entry instructions.
- Responsibility is not accepted for entries lost, damaged, blocked due to security/privacy settings or delayed as a result of any network, computer hardware or software failure of any kind. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of receipt.
- All participants and the winners, as the case may be, indemnify the Promoter, its advertising agencies, advisers, nominated agents, suppliers, its affiliates and/or associated companies against any and all claims of any nature whatsoever arising out of and/or from their participation in any way howsoever in this promotional competition (including, as a result of any act or omission, whether as a result of negligence, misrepresentation, misconduct or otherwise on the part of the Promoter) and/or use of the Prize.
- This promotional competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook, Google or Instagram and the participants acknowledge that they are providing information to the Promoter and its agents only and not to Facebook, Google or Instagram.
- All entrants in this promotional competition release Facebook, Google, and Instagram from all liabilities and claims arising out of or in connection with this competition and these terms and conditions.
- Any personal data submitted by you will be used solely in accordance with current South African data protection legislation, including the Protection of Personal Information Act and the Promoter’s privacy policy.
