Etienne Schlechter

Etienne Schlechter is an experienced Director with a demonstrated history of working in the marketing and the liquor industry. He has a strong background in the liquor industry having been the co- founder and Managing Director of The Bartenders Workshop for 16 years. The business was one of the first mobile bar and bartender training facilities in South Africa and eventually had offices nationally and internationally. He has consulted for many liquor brands, bars restaurants and hotels and lectured at various techincons and universities. He was also the president of The South Africa Bartenders Association and attended the International Bartenders Association conferences all over the world as a judge. Over the last 25 years, he has been operating various businesses and has a wealth of experience in understanding marketing, budgets and profitability. It is his firm belief that in order to be successful in any industry the key is to be highly adaptable and recognise change as it happens.
