This course aims to provide healthcare workers in child health services with a comprehensive understanding of the child immunisation schedule in South Africa.
It will cover essential topics related to immunisation, including the importance of vaccines, the recommended immunisation schedule, vaccine-preventable diseases, administration techniques, safety considerations, and the role of healthcare workers in promoting immunisation as an integral part of child health.
